TR thread "reply" and "view in line" not working

john.a.wills
This has been so for several months. It is the same with IE, Firefox and SeaMonkey, so my browser is probably not to blame. When I click these words I get a little circle revolving endlessly. This happens when I am logged on, so it is not because I am not logged on.

Though there are times that the Reply or Edit functions do not work but I think that is more to do with the Site and changes that are made to it by the Web Designers from time to time.

I did notice that some software that was installed on a clients machine caused all Browsers to play up there was a Y Tube Downloader and things like that which caused problems. I don't know if that helps or not but on that particular machine when I had uninstalled all unfamiliar software it worked again and it's owner was happy, though I'm not so sure that their kid who had installed the Y Tube Downloader was overly happy.

but I do not think excess software is the problem in my case, because I have the problem on 2 computers, one on a network at work and one solitary one at home. The two have different sets of software, for example I have Word 97 at home and Word 2007 at work. As you can see, I was unable to "reply" to your answer in the proper mode. I wish someone at TR would try to answer my question.
