Virus on Microsoft Access Database

Hello All,
Is there anyone out here that knows if M/O access Database Can be infected with Virus?
I have a bunch of DB in a share drive, and I am argjuing with a coworker on his statment that his Access DB was infected by a Virus, if that is the case(which I doubt) why the others M/O Access Database were not infected by it

I found hard to believe a single database can be infected ( if M/O Access can get infected) and the other wont. I just want to make sure

There are viruses which can attach themselves to the end of a file and infect just that file, at least until the virus is spread throughout the system and does its dirty work.

One virus in particular is called A2KM/Sadip@MM by McAfee which states further:

* A97M/Sadip@MM
* I-Worm.Donei (AVP)

Characteristics -

This is a mass-mailing worm that spreads as a Microsoft Access Database file. The virus is received in an email message as follows:

Subject: Re: Saddam Corrupted
Body: Please find the details of Saddam Corrupted
Attachment: account.mdb

When the attachment is opened in Access, viral script is extracted and executed. The worm mails itself to all recipients in the Windows Address Book.

Symptoms -

Presence of the file c:\account.mdb

Method of Infection -

This worm spreads as an Access Database. When the database is accessed, the worm emails itself to Windows Address book recipients using MAPI messaging.
