Vista Stories over a year old on your site.

rgeiken
I just looked at two stories on your site on complaints about Vista that are well over one year old. Anything over 3 months is probably ancient history. Modifications on this O/S are on going, and last years stories are passe. At least you should indicate the date the article was created, so we could determine if we want to look at it.

the date of the first reply, it is from the author and is related to the date.
In this case some folks may have purchased an older release of Vista (prior to updates) and may experience the same or like issues.
Other members here may have some good filter tips, but I am a rookie at this sites navigation. :-) Digging a little, I see you have been a member longer than I, but still nice to see you posting. :-)

In that you can view these 1-year-old posts as ancient history.

However, in the constantly moving world of computer ownership, and varying levels of user knowledge, some of the 'ancient' posts may well pop up again when a new point of interest is added to the old post.

This may be another solution for the problem, or it can sometimes indicate that not all users have yet rid themselves of that problem. :)

There sometimes is valid information in the old discussions, and with storage space, it costs more to purge select discussions than to just let them fade.

I still search for old discussions from time to time.
