Hi Folks.

Here is my scenario:

Host Os: Windows VistaEnterprise SP1
VmWare:Workstation V6.5.1

Problem Description:
I can ping from host to guest IP
Note: NAT is enabled in VMWare

I can not ping back Host IP from the guest OS..

Any possible resolution.. Urgent.

This is normal. When you turn on NAT you are essentially creating a router and the guest VM doesn't know how to get to the network in which your host resides.

Typically what I've done is just set up a linux based router vm (I use vyatta) and configure a static route to actual router that knows how to route to any networks my VMs are going to want to go to.
