Windows Server 2008 R2 Drivers?

Tyharo
I recently installed windows server 2008 R2 but have come across driver issues, many drivers ,such as the graphics and wireless nic, are missing. I've tried downloading them straight from Dell's website but they don't support windows server 2008 OS. How can I get drivers for windows server 2008 R2?
My laptop is a dell studio 1537 (vista).

They do not supply 2008 Drivers, and honestly things like WiFi are not commonly used by Server OS so they may not even be available.

However if you know what Hardware you physically have you can go to the device Makers Web Site and Download the 2008 Driver if there is one.

If you do not know what Hardware you actually have you can get the Unknown Device Identifier here

    http://www.fileheap.com/software-unknown-device-identifier-download-34861.html

Run it on your System to identify your physical Hardware and then search the Device Makers Web Sites for 2008 Drivers.

You mentioned a ATI Video Driver so when you know which ATI Video Card you have go to the ATI Web Page and search for the Drivers for it there. The same applies to all of the other Hardware.

However you should be aware that Servers and Server OS's do not tend to have a lot of things that workstations or NB's have so even if there is a Driver for individual hardware it may not be all that great and may only be a basic driver to get Basic Functions to work.

Thanks for the response, I will look around for a driver. The only reason I'd like my wireless card working is so that I can use it from my room. I got windows server 2008 R2 for free because I'm a high school student and I only really wanted to mess around with a server OS from my room.
    Thanks again for your answer

Why not just put windows server 2008 on another pc and setup a small network involving your laptop? I suggest this option for it would give you a more realistic perspective as you explore the server's features and functionalities.
