Windows Vista is the Devil!

LMillerRN
can someone please help a poor nurse who is trying to work at home and can't figure out all this tech stuff? I can't get my discs from my old PC to work in the Windows Visita world. I can't view my old photos on discs at all. I also can't get my HP photo printer or HP scanner to work properly.

HELP!

For your HP printer and scanner. You've got to update the drivers, so that they are suited for Vista (XP drivers won't work).

Visit the HP Web Site and download the correct drivers for your Printer & Scanner you can start off here as a first point for HP Drivers

As you didn't give models you'll have to look yourself for the correct drivers if they Exist for Vista. Remember that XP Drivers Do Not work with Vista so you'll need Vista Drivers.

As for your Disc's with the pictures on them it would help to know what they actually where External HDD, CD, DVD or whatever. Depending on the Media Type there should be an solution listed here
