XP ROLL OUT TO WIN.7

Hello My nane is Luis, do anybody know the steps to roll out win.xp to win.7, to about 1000 PC's.

    OH Smeg

    From the Same Maker so that they are the Same Model you get a Volume License Version of the OS you want to install with the correct number of licenses and then make an image of the Software load required and then wipe every one of the 1000 computers and do a clean install from the Image.

    Depending on what you have available the Image can be stored on a File Server and you point the system to that when they are first booted or you make several Install DVDs and use those to Boot the systems off.

    Of course if there are different Makes & Models involved you'll need an different Image for each different Make/Model.

    You can not upgrade from XP to 7 it requires a Clean Install.
