All you have to do is cold boot from your Vista CD and do not check the Register box.
Then when you get to the options, Choose "Repair my Computer". The CD will look for and find your existing Vista installation and will automatically fix it.
Note: it is a good idea to have your Vista Drive letter also carry the word Vista, ie; G: Vista, because when I did this it gave me the wrong letter but still fixed the dual boot. Good Luck, Grant Bobbitt, PLS
