| The vCard technology is an electronic method of exchanging the type of information typically found on a business card. However, vCard information is more that just simple text—it can include pictures, company logos, Web links, and more. In Outlook as well as a number of other PIMs, vCards are imported to and exported from entries in your Contacts or address book. This means that you can create detailed entries in Outlook’s Contacts with all your pertinent information and then use the Export to vCard file command on the File menu to save your information as an electronic business card. You can send your electronic business card to anyone simply by attaching the vCard to an e-mail message. |
