I am originally a hardware engineer started out designing control systems in 1975 for a variety of companies. Later, as microprocessors were used in designs, I ended up programming in machine code for a variety of processors. This moved into higher level software when I joined Inmos in 1986 to support the transputer and graphics products, the latter used in the original VGA standard. Since 1995 I have been running my own company that manages international R&D projects, and as a parallel activity, develop collaborative web sites and provide support for Microsoft SBS for small local companies, since I run it for my own business. In 2004, our activities on Risk Assessment and Management Tools were spun out into a new company - Risk Reasoning Ltd.
