I'm currently a solution manager and I'm working on a PhD in Computer Science. I'm quite interested in security, from a hacker stand point. This does not endear me to the hard line academics, but they are coming around.

I think wireless is the coolest thing since sliced bread. OFDM is pretty damn cool and I think there are even more secure ways to transmit, but that is for another time. I love to Red Team/Blue Team, but many don't see it as a way to test real world systems!

I've worked as a a software developer, project manager, IT grunt, sys admin, network admin, and now a solution manager.

If you want to play Microsoft platform games in Linux then check out Transgaming and see if your game is on the list Transgaming Games db. I'm playing World of Warcraft, Counter Strike: Source, Half-Life 2, Warcraft III, and VtM: Bloodlines in Linux! I refuse to pay for any more MS OSs and I just won't beforced to jump through hoops when those that have illegal copies have a very easy time with updates and maintenence.
