Retired from US Army, US Dept of Energy, and EDS Corporation, I've been an IBM and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer. Worked as mainframe computer center manager, chief of user assistance, Microsoft networking instructor, network quality control review specialist, etc. Since 2005, I've reinvented myself by moving into the area of lifelong interest, aviation. I am a now a docent at the Udvar-Hazy Center, the new part of the National Air and Space Museum, teaching and conducting tours. Currently am directing development of the Basic Library and Artifact Support Tool system (called BLAST!) This Access based tool enhances volunteer research and support capabilities by cross referencing huge amounts of information about aviation books, our artifacts, and aerospace personalities.
