Amazon's Kindle Paperwhite ups the e-reader ante (pictures)

really reader for a major worldwide usage, none are. While they all fight over the use of their own proprietary format they only delay the widespread use of these readers. I write a lot of stories and I refuse to allow my stories to be screwed over by being converted for use by iPad, Kindle etc until such time as they are capable of rendering the story in one of the two presentation methods I use to they will LOOK the way I created them. To date, all the format screw over the bulk of the story formatting and are thus unacceptable as they produce huge blocks of almost unreadable text and not a pleasant alternative to a printed book.

I've been using the Kindle touch and I love it I can also get online with it and for the finger prints it doesn't leave any that will get in the way I read and play games and wouldn't want any other one.

..an e-reader with a touch screen. Touching the screen leaves fingerprints, and it intereferes with reading. I'd constantly be spraying it down with windex, or putting it in the dishwasher to keep it clean, and I'm sure that would ruin it on the first day. Why can't they come up with one, like my Kobo, that doesn't have this stupid touch screen technology? I bought my Kobo for only $40 refurbished, instead of the over $100 this one seems to cost, PLUS I don't have to touch the screen, EVER, so it stays clean! What a concept. Maybe they can soon cut the cost of the non-touchscreen ones to $20 and begin selling those new, then everyone could have one, rather than something over $100 that no one wants?
