You are correct. You are not an idiot. However, by your own admission, you are apparently ignorant -- at least regarding technical issues and current culture. To claim lack of knowledge regarding the most successful product Apple has had to date, is a rather patent admission of ignorance -- and a rather lame excuse. Furthermore you apparently cannot distinguish between "blackface" and "silhouette". You are in common company based on the responses in this thread.

Finally, you are apparently too easily influenced by the news to analyze what you see. Perhaps you should stop watching the news. Or perhaps, just stop and think before accusing others of your own prejudices.
