Image Gallery: Flying a stealth fighter - 80's style in F-19 Stealth Fighter

I remember this game on my C64. For the strike missions, I always chose the most difficult settings, and then flew at around 100 feet and just a hair over stall speed to get an optimal stealth rating/level. Made the missions infuriatingly long due to the travel times between objectives, though. I seem to recall a time-control key that speeds up the game. I could be wrong.

I also had Airborne Ranger and Red Storm Rising, great games at the time. The adaptation of The Hunt for Red October was also top-notch.

Gee, never had that problem before. Maybe because CopyWrite requires a hardware interrupt not available on Tandy?
 
In any case, I learnt the value of CopyWrite when for reasons unknown, the Key Disk of F-15 Strike Eagle no longer functions.
 
Oh! The Horror! The Despair! The Collective Scream! The unavoidable scrounging up of loose cash by me & my brother... So we ended up buying CopyWrite and, um, 'borrowing' someone else's F-15 SE Key Disk. :P
 
Thus, we learnt firsthand the importance of backups at an early age. That's one use of CopyWrite... among *cough* other uses *cough*
 

Mark Kaelin and I were talking about that just yesterday. I never had that. Kept meaning to get it, but never did. Copywrite and the CopyIIPC software seemed to always do the job for... archival... purposes.

The card sped things up and cracked a few of the harder ones, didnt it?
