The new MacBook Pro appears to be a hybrid of the legacy Pro and the Air, about half the thickness of the older Pros but without the taper of the Air.

Retina display

Why didn't some other PC manufacturer come out with a super high resolution display before this? Oops, we Windows users are usually looking for cheap and functional rather than exhoribitant, extravagent prices. Now when other makes show super hi-rez screens they'll be accused of merely following Apple.
