At an event celebrating 30 years of public key cryptography on Thursday, several of the top minds in cryptology gathered for a trip down memory lane.

Brian Snow (left), retired technical director for the National Security Agency, and Jim Bidzos, former CEO of RSA Security and founderof VeriSign, reminisced during the panel discussion about the struggle RSA had building its business because the U.S. government wanted to rein in encryption technology.
