Members of the Army's 82nd Airborne Division exit a C-130 during an exercise at Fort Bragg, N.C., in May 2005. The combination of plane and parachutes inspired one of the most familiar marching cadences--also known as jody calls--chanted in call-and-response form by troops in training. This is just one part of one variation:

C-130 rollin' down the strip
Airborne daddy gonna take a little trip
Jump up, hook up, shuffle to the door
Jump on out and count to four.
