Fujifilm is updating up its compact camera line. The company's 8-megapixel Finepix F40fd can detect as many as 10 faces in a frame to try to make sure the focus and exposure are set correctly rather than being blurry or too bright or dark. The camera is the company's first compact that can accept SD memory cards as well as the traditional xD cards of earlier models. It will be available in March for $299.
