The Nvidia event is being held at the former Alameda Naval Air Station, closed by the government in 1997. Several hundred gamers are expected to attend and compete in tournaments playing Crysis, Team Fortress 2, and Madden NFL '08. There will also be mini tournaments going on from Friday night through Sunday on other games like Unreal Tournament and Counter Strike.
