Am I the only one who thinks that filter makes this photo look terrible?

Lost in all of the celebration and hoopla about this shuttle "flight" is that this is really a funeral procession. It marks the dangerous, unnecessary and reckless death of the US manned space program. For the first time in over 50 years, the US has no ability to send man into space. Moreover, despite vague talk about privatization, there really is no specific program to give the US this capability in the future. The US has effectively ceded its technological leadership in this area to the Russians and Chinese. So we now know the true meaning of "Change we can believe in".
