Steve Jobs' most revolutionary Apple products

My first foray with computers (which I am still passionaly persueing today 28yrs later) was by Commodore Business Machines (CBM). I went to several schools in different states and they all had (1982/1983) PET/Vic-20/64/128 and the next machine I saw after that was a x286 with Windows. I fell in love with computers and couldn't program enough in BASIC, assembler and machine code (even on the Atari, Timex, Trash-80's, Apple, etc.).

I would disagree with the authors comments. I won't argue that Apple did a lot to drive phone makers to the next level, however, I had an iMate back in 2003 or so, and they had icons, touch, and many of the basic features you give Apple credit for having invented! What about the LG Prada or various other pre-iphone smart phones!?!? What about the fact that Android began way back at least two or more years BEFORE the iPhone came to market!?? How can you be so biased?!

I do give credit where credit is due, Apple did do a marvelous job, but to give them all the credit is really a very biased and improper perspective.

My first PC was an Apple //c, with it's small, 9"?, green screen. I added an external floppy drive and boy was I screaming along with 2 disk drives and, what, 1 Mhz. Had a Scribe printer. Noisy and slow, but it was "new" techology. That was 1983.
