None of the dudes seemed able to pull off the outfits. Sad, I thought anyone could look good in a top hat and tails. Impressive that they found a way to get it wrong, while seemingly trying to get it right.

Proving once again that when a guy chooses something to wear, it only prompts the nearest woman to say, "You're not wearing that, are you?"

I can't help feeling these clothes seem to suit the women best. I'm afraid I don't feel inspired to run out and buy some of the stuff the guys are waring here!

I think that would probably be a good idea.

I think the fault lies with the author of the article - 90% of what is on display in this fashion show is definitely not what the term "steampunk" was originally coined to describe. I don't know why on earth the author called it that, except perhaps that they wouldn't really know the Steampunk aesthetic if they saw it.

...just because you can fit into something doesn't mean it looks good on you. That's why there's such a thing as tailoring, etc...

Women, of course, have understood this for a long, long time...:) We;ve still got a ways to go to catch up with them.
