Apple Software Update versus Microsoft Update

No disclosure

If you click Next without changing the default option, you tacitly agree to install Apple Software Update. You then see another installer dialog box, shown here. The link at the bottom of this dialog box says the software is subject to the original license agreement and points to the Apple - Legal web page. As of March 24, 2008, this page does not include the text of the Apple Software Update license agreement.

another windowss minstrel singing paeans of that system Of all the things to compare!!!!! a simple software update for a audio / video program compared to a full OS!!!! And besides if we are serious then I will stick to Apple coz the list of patches of Windows and related junk is ever growing so much so that I run out of a disk space

Microsoft can teach Apple what? The Windows Genuine Advantage disclosure? The only interest that serves is Microsoft's although they BS'ed their way by not allowing any updates unless you install their spyware. Don't get me wrong, the Mac is more hype than fact and the cards are carefully hidden in both camps. At least a user can fix & upgrade their PC themselves choosing from a wide selection of vendors & applications. Macheads have to go to Big Brother Steve's indoctrination shop where he not only has you by the short & curlies - he owns them. Bottom line - they both suck but for different reasons.
