Using shadow copy
Now that you have configured Windows to create shadow copies of your files you can rest assured that no matter what bonehead thing you do to your documents, you have a copy to restore from when needed. In the example, I have created a simple Word 2007 document called ShadowTest.docx and saved it in my folder.
