I have always thought that the touch screen was a sure fire hit for a heart-of-the-home system, and the heart of any home is the kitchen. the only industry where I have ever seen a touch screen in widespread deployment is in a restaurant. they work so well there, I think they could do great in a hime kitchen. combine a video messaging app, with a little home automation, and recipies/cooking apps and it could be a winner.

Apple has been doing this for a long time.

The fabric surround is an interesting idea, but for the kitchen? -> Fail.

I admit that my first thought was "Gee, this looks just like my iMac..." but the touchscreen is definitely new. Anybody want to send me a free one to review? :) This looks like it would be fun to fiddle with... besides, I've wanted a way to look up recipes next to the stove for years!

Didn't Dell make something like this before, but the tower was actually located inside the Keyboard?

... unless it's removable and machine washable! :)
