Princess Daisy / Princess Peach / Yoshi / Toadete

Full marks for the costume, but the effect is rather spoilt by the sacks of potatoes in the background (no, not the ginger guy, the actual sacks of potatoes).

Saw that it was already addressed. Thanks for the pics!

Poison Ivy and The Riddler.

This is a character from Reboot. I think the character's name is AndrAIa. The reason the AI is capitalized is because this character has some sort of Artificial Intelligence programmed into her. I miss Reboot.

#27. The guy in blue is Nightwing not Blue Beetle. #36. The kid on the left is Zuko not Sokka.

I snapped it on the sidewalk outside the venue, and the potatoes were for a chip truck on the side of the road. Sorry sometimes you have to get the shots where you can. I could have set up a tripod somewhere and arranged a suitable background but I would have had far fewer shots.

Must have been doing this after my day job :) Of course its the Riddler.

I have always wondered, whenever there's a gallery of photos of cosplayers, if you don't know the character and you're taking their picture - why don't you ask them who they are?

I kinda thought it was somewhere in the Marvel Universe. My son was delighted to line up for a couple of hours, pay $50 and get a chance for a brief chat and an autographed picture of Stan Lee.

When I was writing up the captions, my son was out with his friends, he would have known it I'm sure. My daughter, who admittedly is more into anime, helped me with a few, we struggled with this one.

I thought his name was Bebop?

The boar looks like one of the pig men from Duke Nukem.

Photo #2, batman or ductman! Love the poster with Alice Cooper in the background in a couple of pics. Not enough credit for Ernest Borgnine, but I guess you were staying in context of the event, like Small Soldiers and Pinky and The Brain. How about other SiFi like The Black Hole, Escape From New York, and Airwolf (TV)? http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000308

I actualy did look for the Boar charecter, saw several maybes, but couldn't be sure. Codex, what was I thinking. I have watched the Guild a few times, but not recently. Would have been interesting to see this person meet Felicia Day. Thanks for the Final Fantasy hints, I'm not up to date.

Usually after you get your shot, there is someone lining up to get another one. They like to get their picture taken, but they aren't necessarily chatty about it - some of them stay "in charecter". Some of them might be offended that you didn't already know.... I did think about a notebook, but in those crowds, it would have been one more thing to carry, with an already heavy camera. I might get a small voice recorder and do some interviews - I could have interviewed the game designer for Tron, or some of the comic artists. The people doing autographs have handlers, so aren't as approachable.

I missed Dragoncon this year due to some other things going on that weekend with work and other personal activities. But I understand it was a huge convention weekend all over the place.

I saw these guys in line, and thought someone had done a great job on a low budget. To be honest, I'd forgotten some of Ernest's SciFi credits. Thanks for the link. He was certainly a lively and animated subject. He really seemed to enjoy being there. Unlike say Burt Ward who had instructed security to make sure no one, not even press, could get a picture of him.
