Five noteworthy PowerPoint add-ons

Perspector

Perspector is fun to play with, and I was able to produce a few fairly impressive objects. Some turned out better than others, and I kept getting an error message that seemed to reflect a small code glitch somewhere, at least in the trial version. But it didn't hamper the generation of the images.

Perspector comes in several editions, ranging in price from $ 59 to $299. If you use a lot of charts and business graphics in your presentations -- and you're not content with PowerPoint's built-in options -- a test drive of this add-on might be worth your while.

TechCrunch I think you killed OfficeTimeline2012. Also, apparently TechCrunch readers really want that particular enhancement.

Hi, we're hosted on GoDaddy on a shared server and I must admit - it's been a pretty bad experience being on a shared server. The servers are pretty slow and non-responsive when there's any real traffic. BUT! As a small business where we actually have a normal day job on top of our passion for trying to be entrepreneurial, it's really hard for us to justify paying a ton for dedicated hosting. If folks out there have good experience with another ISP that's affordable, we'd love to know! Thanks, Inesse Manucharyan | Office Timeline
