I'd be more interested if Google could first make Gmail work properly as a serious email system. I've been trying to convert my IMAP-based email over to Google, and I'm going to give up. It's just not usable if you have a large email archive, and a number of message-handling processes are simply broken - it fails both RFC822 and IMAP protocol specs. Trying to report a bug, or get any response from Google in any of their "help" forums is like bashing your head against a wall. I think they're only interested in superficial stuff, and this looks like they're trying to attract the facebook and twitter crowd. All I want is email that works.

What is the size of your large e-mail archive, which will not convert? Conversely what is the largest e-mail archive that HAS converted OK for you? Thanks.
