I think they are all having a good time let them be shesseh if more people had a good time lest stress in the world.
Ok..It took me a while....I thought the chip was a Pizza so that threw me off big time. then......I thought it was "wood" and a "key" so I thought "woodkey?.....wookie?....Star Wars?" Wow. I'm a nerd. I'm happy though. Ken
That would be a KVM issue... keyboard, video, (see, that's a MONITOR...) mouse. Oh, yae, and leeloo IS a perfect being... She's hot!
somebody still corrected it wrong at the top of the replies... @mcsmith - no you're not an idiot, just a little touchy... and at mister "You're an Idiot!" guy... lighten up francis...
That person in Blackface is not cool...for a second I wanted to think they were trying to be NightCrawler from the X-Men, but nah...it's just someone in blackface
From Left to Right here we go: First gal is a mouse, see the ears, nose, wiskers, the L and R button and scroll wheel? Second gal is a computer + tortilla chip = Computer Chip (Note the electricity marks on the face) Third Gal is a Key + Wooden Board = keyboard (Note the letters on the face)
"A silhouette is a view of some object or scene consisting of the outline and a featureless interior." "A silhouette is a form of artwork. It is most commonly a human portrait in profile, in black. They do not show any facial expression. Silhouettes are most often made by a skilled silhouette artist by looking at a subject's profile, whether in person or from a photograph, and simply cutting out their likeness freehand." Wikipedia Are silhouettes "racist?"
... but the Green Screen gave it away as something to do with special effects. The rest of the makeup wasn't there to make it Blackface. Now if he'd been dressed as Mr. Bones (not the skeleton) or Mr. Interlocutor, that would have been different.
He's supposed to be a shadow, like in the cell phone and iPod commercials. I don't think it's a racial thing.
Turn the TV on once in awhile AND open your eyes. Prescription: drink more, or perhaps less. A doctor will decide which is right for you.
He is a shadow dancer from an Ipod commercial..if you didn't notice the white Ipod and wires running to his ears. Get over yourself. Geess.
He's one of the ipod shadows from their commercial. Here's an example: http://www.tuaw.com/2005/08/25/ipod-shadow-dancer-cant-afford-ipod/
I think they represent KVM (Keyboard, Video, Mouse). And yes, with a mouse that looks like that, let the plagues begin!!! Actually, all three of them are very cute, I would like to flic their switches any day!!!
You are correct. You are not an idiot. However, by your own admission, you are apparently ignorant -- at least regarding technical issues and current culture. To claim lack of knowledge regarding the most successful product Apple has had to date, is a rather patent admission of ignorance -- and a rather lame excuse. Furthermore you apparently cannot distinguish between "blackface" and "silhouette". You are in common company based on the responses in this thread. Finally, you are apparently too easily influenced by the news to analyze what you see. Perhaps you should stop watching the news. Or perhaps, just stop and think before accusing others of your own prejudices.
I made a joke about it being a Shadow priest... Somehow I suspect that Video games were the level of his mentality...
If you're not an idiot you could at least be an idiot's assistant. Apple only had like 8 different commercials with someone's (black) silhouette dancing. They must be racists! If I were you I'd boycott the company and write a nasty letter to that insensitive cracker Steve Jobs.
You gotta be kidding me - maybe I'm a little preoccupied with Dnd & fantasy fiction, but my first thought was that he was a drow stepped right out of an R.A. Salvatore book, maybe even Drizz't himself. The coloring is pretty close to classic dark elf from Dnd fiction *shrug* Not bad for the uninitiated ;-)
For the record, I'm a black American. I thought the iPod commercial guy was very funny and so was the iPod Samurai killer. The whole black face racist thing didn't cross my mind. Any tech with a brain would think of iPod first, but then I kept reading the thread. What a mistake. there will always be hatred, cause that's what hateful people do. You can't get away from it and you don't have to accept it, but you should leave the innocent out of it. It was just an iPod spoof.
Thanks to the person that explained the ipod dancer thing, however dumbass with all these nooses in the news (hanging off trees statues and police stations) you get sensitive over these type of things...besides the guy is painted black what was I supposed to think? I do have a life forgive me if I'm not up on apple's marketing gimmicks
Never attribute to Malice... What can adequately be explained by stupidity. take the ID 10 T test...
