How to deploy Linux servers with NOC-PS PXE Server

Deploy Linux servers with NOC-PS PXE Server

The NOC-PS PXE server provisioning system is a virtual appliance that is available in the VMware Virtual Appliance Marketplace. NOC-PS establishes a DHCP service to specified MAC addresses to provide them an installation profile for a number of operating systems. The default build includes 31 boot functions of a number of Linux distributions as well as a disk erasure tool. Windows PXE support can be added, but requires media to be provided.

Not sure. I can say that the group making this appliance is small. Really small.

Shame it doesn't support RH. One would have thought that it ought to have done, given the prevalence of RH in Linux deployments .. Maybe in v. 2 ?

What would be the best way to script the installation (with or without imaging) to set-up the configuration of each Linux VM.

You can add your own OS profile to the appliance, including Windows.
