T-Mobile HotSpot @Home Talk Forever Home retail package

By Matthew Miller

T-Mobile may not have a 3G data network, but they are on the cutting edge with helping people ditch their home phones and use VoIP services. The latest service allows you to use your standard home cordless phone with a new T-Mobile line. The service does require a new special modem, available for US$50 with 2-year commitment.

Pretty pictures, but TMOBILE in reality simply sucks. www.yourcellservicesucks.com check it out. Their service is substandard. Their customer support is lame, and their HOTSPOTs...took 1 trip to 3 states and in more than 6 locations in each state on that same trip, NO HOTSPOT functionality. called tmobile, they said "OH Well" and the bill still had to be paid. Am happier with my iPhone.

This article is waste of space and does not belong here. It is just hidden ad.

Not that impressed with the cost and the 2 year commitment! You just as well have a VoIP gateway and SIP provider and use any phone with that. No commitment plus half of the hardware costs

This needs to be edited to read "The service does require a new special router" instead of "modem" The router is what you are covering in all the photos.

While this is certainly a real gee-whiz new product from T-Mobile, I'm disappointed that they choose to use 802.3g instead of 802.3n. Is there any indication that they may provide the 3n capability in the future?

But, not in this case. A short overview and functional description could have replaced the 31 images used. I agree what a waste of time and bandwidth.
