Monitor computer usage with Network LookOut Administrator Professional

Agent installation

In order to use the product, you must install an agent on each computer that you wish to monitor. The agent requires a password, and you need to choose a port number to use. A password is necessary in order to prevent people from making configuration changes to the client. The password is also used by the console when you initially connect to the remote workstation. Also note the checkboxes at the top of the window. These configuration options give you a way to change the client password and to encrypt communication between the client and the console.

Click the Start Agent button to get started. Click OK when you're done.

Other than the thumbnail feature that lets you monitor multiple computers at the same time, this looks like just another implementation of VNC.

When I tried to get this download, I got a page with the message 404 Not Found. I wonder why? Best regards, Eric

Some people might think this is a strange question. I did come across some programs that would allow me to do everything Network LookOut can do, as well as turning on computers. This is quite handy if I am to provide remote support to the machines and for some reasons the machines are off. laman

Eric, I recieved the same error and I sent an email to TR and I did a " refresh" when the web page was up and it connected without any errors.

You can use the hardware MB/BIOS facility to wake a computer when LAN activity accesses it. I am not aware of any other way to power up a PC which has been switched off by a user
