Now, don't get me wrong - this is some fine photography indeed but I feel just a scosh mislead. Tech Republic - I was thinking oooOOoooOOO someone went and took some Techy pictures in Australia. But alas, aside from the scenic views, dissapointment. I expected to see more... em... how shall I put this... technology? First girth now this. Dissapoint is rampant.
G'day mate Yeh it's Sydney down under It was correct in the original post but Sidney in the headline comment. Bugger
What a terrible thing to have to travel to Sydney. I pity you. Yeah right! Just like my son's first ARMY station being Hawaii!
Great pictures Jim. I hope you didn't get to much sand in your laptop!! Great time to go, our winter, their summer - just coincidence???
Awesome pictures. Looks like you spent most of your time in the vacinity of Kiribilli. Agree with previous poster - colours in pic 3 are pretty amazing... very slight hint of smog though... :(
Good thing you only went to Sydney, imagine the spelling if you had called into Kaltukatjara, Oodnadatta or Bungeworgorai. Cheers John
my dad was born in New Zealand in a place called Ohingaiti (Said as "oh a nighty". Other places there are Kaukopakopa and Urutiti (Which had a nudist beach between a rubbish dump and a christian youth camp)
Sorry about that - at least I was consistent ;) I have made the appropriate correction - I blame the hectic holidays.
youse canna expect the yanks to have correct spelling, after all, they think colour doesn't have a u in it. ;)
It's spelled color, not colour, according to the all knowing, all seeing Firefox.* * Isn't everyone's system set to American English?
The yanks don't know they are the only ones in step in the whole army. But don't give up - the NEXT time they hold a "World" championship they might even invite the rest of the world.
Only the U.S. drops the "U" in words, colour, behaviour, etc., all other English speaking countries insert and use the original spelling with the "U". Yes and please get TR to edit Sidney to the proper spelling, it is Sydney with a Y, a place name that should not be phonetically spelled.
That Firefox is wrong, wrong, wrong. Many Canadians use American settings. Many like myself do not, because we like to spell correctly (even if we can't type). James
