Popims Animator: The Right Tool for the Job?

Help is good, not great

Being a larger program than the original SmartMorph I had been using, I expected it to be more complex and perhaps less intuitive, so I wasn't perturbed to resort to using the Help feature, which I found to be good, but not great. It's not overly verbose but it tells you what you need to know in most cases. Of course, it doesn't hurt that many of the functions are activated with the click of an icon. Help isn't great, as I said, and I'll get to its drawbacks in a moment.

Well looks like Popims is not the way to go... Is SmartMorph the BEST free morpher out there? How about if you were willing to pay - say up to $50 when what should be best?

PC-only?! Can't be much of a design program then. ;-) (Great review, Kirk!)

Well Jay, you are right though it's been pointed out to me that lotsa Mac users 'round here run Windows using Boot Camp. To those people I say: find a different morphing program. Even if you can use this, you really don't want to. Blech.

Apparently you don't realize that most of the Mac users on this sit, run Windows under Boot Camp.

I hadn't thought of that, thanks. Most of the Mac users I know personally have no desire to run Windows at all. :)
