Spotlight: Microsoft Network Monitor 3.3

Inspecting HTTPS

Inspecting HTTPS communications is rather limited, because the data within the conversation (other than the initial headers) is encrypted. If you need to know what is inside SSL transmissions, you will need to use a proxy server of some type.

I was having problems using the IPv4.sourceaddress == (address) to filter items. I ended up using "Property.Destination.contains("ip address here") and property.Source.contains("ip address here") I thought that I would be able to click on columns to sort by the different headers, but that doesn't appear to work. Over all this appears to be a pretty good packet capture utility. Bill
