I have been using vipre on xp vista and server03 and 08 since the beta release. It works uses a lot less recorces than othe Av products and take the need to run a spyware program with your Av and you save a lot CPU recorces. the product updates itself and you can set it to run your scans as you wish deal with found problems automatically or manually . All in all I LIKE it.

Isn't that what any-other Antivirus do ??

Is this just a cheap advertising ploy ? What's innovative other than using this blog for adverts ?

It is so enlightening to see screen shots of a program installing on a Windows-machine! Thank you! However, most of TechRepublic subscribers work in IT, and I am pretty sure we all have installed a couple of programs our selves. In this article the explanation of how exactly VIPRE is redefining security eludes me... Am I stupid or what!

I agree with markku, screen caps are nice but so what? How about an article about the actual software and experience of it. Then again it is sunbelt product...same old wrong investments into adds vs. into a product.
