Mean ol' Kitty Joxer ! I love this photo! Hate to know what the cat was thinking at the time! Maybe something untranslatable into English!!!! From Cheryl
Are you trying to imply that Sonja Booted the Server? Surely Doug would get upset if that happened. You may however get away with it as I have it on Good Authority that you scare him. :D Something about a bunch of Bikers coming and paying him a visit to Edumicate him on the Error of his ways. :^0 OH How's th Dell going broken it yet? :0 Col
Not to sound like a whiner, but Ozwald was on TROLOV a month or so back and my son is itching to seem him in the gallery. Any chance you can post him?
Its ok I'm sure you have plenty on your plate. Plus I'm the noob who has to earn my place in the TR community ;)
Why am I such a misfit? I am not just a nitwit. You can't fire me I quit, since I don't fit in. Why am I such a misfit? I am not just a nitwit. Just because my nose glows, why don't I fit in? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FwlOUAAyPQE&feature=related
I never cease to be amazed at the lion lying with the lamb! I'm not allowed pets at my location, but my buddy has a golden lab and stray cat that are learning to get along. It just tickles me silly!
To paraphrase a line from the movie Jaws: "We're gonna need a bigger cat bed!" That's either one large cat or one small bed. Either way, he or she looks very content.
I love seeing all the critters that are a part of our lives. I know that I am not happy without a kitty nearby and loved seeing all the kitty pics. Callie enjoyed the fish pictures and is now pestering for supper. She'll have to wait a few hours. Tammy and I have talked about her MinPins and it was fun to see a picture of Winston. The rest of the puppies were wonderful to see. In a townhouse, a dog would not be very happy so we don't have one. But I always enjoy meeting the doggies! I love the sense of community that has developed on TR and how much stronger it is getting. Keep it up- I have always believed that this is just as much a reason to come together as our common interest in technology.
I must have missed the request for pics :( - I would have gladly sent in mine. Here is one. :) http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2398/2173796043_6d668c2448_b.jpg
What a great idea! The pets of TR! B-) Not sure how this works, as new photos get sent in, do they get added to this, or will there be a link to "Act 2"? I look forward to more of this! B-)
I added some verbiage below the first pic in the gallery, and so hopefully TR folks will see that. For those of you just scanning the discussion thread (I know that happens), you can send your pet pics as e-mail attachments to trol at cnet.com. I will manually add them to the gallery as they are sent in.
Take another photo of the fish tank as the last one didn't get used. :_| Maybe one with Boxy trying to escape the Paran? will get used. :D Col ]:)
Or you might end up with a Thumbs Up where you don't want one! By the way, your fishies are added to the gallery.
Throw a cup of Char into a open running case. :D Now remember Goldfish shoals, nibbling at my toes, :0 Col ]:)
Don't stir, HAL. :D It could be hazardous to my health. etu to keep those circuits from shorting out.
Pity that the Fish demand to be feed by 6.00 AM every morning or they call the RSPCA and make a Complaint. So I assume that I'm not allowed to submit a photo of feeding Boxy AKA Davette to the Paran?? No problem I'll just tell her it will be Goldfish Kissing her Toes she'll understand. OH can I send in Pictures of all my pets? The Daughter In Law doesn't realize that she's one of the pets yet. Col
You're suppose to peer mail me when there's juicy posts like these! I responded (late - but better than never).
I marvelled that you even remembered in that post. It was like two months ago when the challenge went out.
NOW THATS FUNNY. I'm going to make that my next avatar................. Yes, I know what you meant......but.
Alright! And how cool! I definitely like this photo gallery. Kind of like the Member Spotlights and TROLOV, seeing member pets adds a personal touch. All this electronic communication, and forum play is pretty neat, but it's sometimes too impersonal (at least for me). Way to go. :D
I've always wanted one of those, but they need so much attention -- worse than a dog. And you can't cuddle with them.
Well, it's not another picture of my buddy Elvis, but I thought I'd share it anyway. My friends Paul & Hans just got a new puppy and they sent me a picture. So I couldn't help but animate it and give Doug The Dog a chance to say a few words to his new owners. you may have to turn up your speakers a bit. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fdp3mrTlAwQ :-) (The dead space at the end is because I was gonna add a reference to their cat, but wasn't sure if they still had the cat and ran outta time)
Great Dane Puppy that I gave my mother. She used to take photos of him and add funny comments on the back like the dog looking at the garden after new plants where added and saying things like Goody they are putting new things for me to dig up out. Or the wreckage of the house after they had left him alone and him lieing in the middle of the worst of it saying something like What Mess? I don't see anything wrong. Col 0:-)
You are absolutely right. So much so that I will probably end up doing some more editing to that animation later this week. ;-) playin' with graphics has long been my favorite hobby (if not addiction). I 'spose I should get back to playin' golf or something. At least then I'd burn more calories than from pounding on a keyboard and slidin' a mouse around. Glad ya liked it. I told Sonja I'd contribute one for TROLOV as long as it is one of a member's pet and I get some script ideas to go with it.
Several new pet pics! If you have a pet that you'd like to see in this TR photo gallery, please send it to trol [at] techrepublic [dot] com.
