The media company embarked on a program to simplify and standardise its back office services to implement their corporate strategy as well as support a culture which embodied the company values. There was an immediate need for establishing shared services centre, standardise their processes on a technology platform that could scale rapidly as the company grows and improve services that are being offered by the F&A organization. The team from TCS performed a careful and detailed study of the business processes and designed a state-of-the-art F&A Platform powered by Oracle eBusiness R12. The platform based on the Process as a Service (PaaS) model was created in time for the company to meet its critical deadline of disengaging its systems from the parent organization.
