Advantage Sales and Marketing, a national outsourced sales and marketing organization for consumer packaged goods manufacturers and others, was dissatisfied with one of its own outsourced services: audio and web conferencing. The service was difficult to use, expensive, and offered limited functionality. After considering a Cisco solution, Advantage chose Microsoft Unified Communications. For Advantage, the move to Unified Communications resulted in first-year cost savings of 70 percent. It provides what the company calls "Rock-solid reliability." It is so easy to use and so effective that web conferencing use has soared by 300 percent and, best of all, advantage is using it to achieve better, closer relationships with its clients and customers.
