CSC partnered with a large automotive after-market industry client to help streamline their supply chain processes. The goal was to improve a network that is characterized by excessive inventory, incomplete information, high logistics costs, slow reactions, and lost profits at the retail level. Worked collaboratively with the client to understand the as-is conditions and develop a system of improved and streamlined process steps. The results of this project are expected to be lower inventories with higher service levels and reduced logistics and transaction costs.
