Oxford Archaeology wanted to extend its email capability to the remaining half of the organisation without incurring additional cost. The organisation selected VMware Zimbra Collaboration Server for deployment on premise, enabling it to provide multi-platform support and maintain a long-term, open approach. By replacing its existing solution, Oxford Archaeology was able to deliver email to the entire organisation while reducing the cost per user by 50%. Furthermore, employees now have improved remote access due to the organisation's decision to embrace Zimbra's web-based client in place of existing desktop email clients.
