Case Study: Siemens Indonesia

Date Added: Jul 2010

Siemens has been actively engaged in supporting Indonesia's infrastructure with innovative technologies since 1855. Siemens needed to consolidate IT resources after facing complexity in managing data centers with growing data size, scattered in all of its branch representative offices. To support business, Siemens IT organizations needed a flexible, cost effective and secure IT infrastructure to efficiently and quickly provide computing resources to numerous and geographically dispersed project teams. They deployed Fujitsu. Fujitsu responded to those challenges with Fujitsu Resource Coordinator VE (RCVE) to enhance Siemens' Blade Server Architecture. Siemens chose Fujitsu's solution for its flexibility, simplicity, unified management, and automated recovery, service and resource virtualization capabilities that are well above other competitor's solutions.
