The Castilla y Leon Regional Government wanted to increase the number and quality of housing services available and standardize services provided by 12 information offices spread across the region's nine provinces. The challenge was to gain demographic and socioeconomic profiles of applicants to ensure proper distribution of subsidized housing offers and support administrative processing of requests and expand communication channels between the Department of Housing and Architecture and the public. Castilla y Leon Regional Government implemented Oracle's Siebel applications, in partnership with Oracle Partners Indra and Telefonica Soluciones, to enable greater visibility into housing requirements and residents' needs, as well as more efficient service and increased quality and productivity in managing requests for information - processing 511,547 requests in 27 months.
