Executive Summary

The client is a global force in transport refrigeration and air conditioning systems. The client had setup multiple manufacturing and distribution plants across the globe for ensuring timely delivery of its products. However, increased competition from global and local players was putting pressure on the client's margins and profitability. As the ERP solution had to address the requirements of all centers across the globe, the visioning, mapping and subsequent piloting stage of the project was done at a global level for all the group companies. The overall enterprise structure was defined in such a way that it would fulfill the requirements of the big picture envisioned at the end of the entire consolidation/implementation exercise.
