As an extremely successful growing UK film exhibitor, Cineworld had a number of key business issues with their telephony infrastructure and the service provided to customers over the phone, that were clearly restricting further growth. One issue for Cineworld was not having a central telephone number to provide film information to their customers, this issue alone resulted in significant advertising costs to publicise a different number for each individual site. Cineworld deployed Telephonetics VIP MovieLINE for their solution. Whilst Cineworld appreciated the fact that approximately 94% of callers chose to go through the automated solution, 6% of callers would still chose to speak with a live agent or be required to drop out of the automated solution, in exceptional situations.
