The Cook County Clerk, David Orr, and his office are responsible for running county elections, keeping records on vital documents, and administering delinquent property taxes and tax sales. With 6 million residents, 24 million records, and 2,300 precincts, the Cook County Clerk's Office (CCCO) has vast amounts of data to manage for each department. The government agency needed reporting functionality and wanted to provide faster turnaround on document requests from constituents. CCCO turned to Microsoft Gold Certified Partner InterDyn-LANAC Technology to integrate accounting with cashiering and document management by deploying Microsoft Dynamics GP, combined with Microsoft Dynamics Retail Management System as its point-of-sale solution. This system reduced costs by 20 percent, automated processes, increased efficiency within the organization, and strengthened constituent relations.
