Cloud Hosting Provider Aims to Improve Service, Lower Costs With Server Upgrade
The T-Systems Central End User Services group hosts messaging and collaboration solutions, including Microsoft Exchange Server, Microsoft Lync Server, and Microsoft SharePoint Server, as managed services. Hosting provider T-Systems wanted to expand cloud services for customers around the world. It chose Windows Server 2012 and Hyper-V to build a flexible, scalable cloud computing platform. T-Systems will replace its fibre channel storage system with the cost-effective storage options in Windows Server 2012. With more powerful virtual machines and larger Hyper-V clusters, it will increase the density and computing power of its data centers.
