Executive Summary

Central Bank of India is a major nationalised public sector bank with more than 3000 branches across India. There was minimum integration amongst in-use applications and IT set-up in branches. Central Bank of India was facing serious operational and expansion issues due to its legacy IT infrastructure and multiple independent non-integrated applications. Interlinking multiple applications was a serious challenge and had its own limitations. To master these needs Central Bank of India chose CMC. CMC designed 3-tier architecture network covering Data Center, Disaster Recovery set-up, network aggregation points and branches under it. This robust high-end solution was based on products from renowned manufacturers.
