Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu wanted to develop a Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) solution that will ensure quality service and business agility for clients and adapt a structured Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution to provide a robust IT foundation for comprehensive business process outsourcing services for Deloitte clients. The challenge was to create a software-as-a-service offering for growing companies, expanding Deloitte's offerings for this market sector. Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu implemented Oracle E-Business Suite applications to provide comprehensive ERP capabilities to deploy Deloitte's BPO service, which included accounting, fiscal, financial, accounts payable and receivable, and billing functions.
